Download and install hanzo on your device
hanzo is available on Android via a direct APK download, or on iOS through your browser. We do not currently distribute through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store; instead, you download from our website and install manually. This process takes a few minutes and requires you to allow installation from unknown sources on Android.
Installation steps for hanzo
- Visit hanzo.bet and tap the download button for your device type (Android APK or iOS browser link).
- On Android, open your Settings, go to Security or Apps, and allow installation from unknown sources, then tap the downloaded APK file to install.
- Once installed, open the hanzo app, create a new account with your email and password, and verify your email address.
- Upload a photo of your ID to verify your identity, link a payment method such as DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet, then make your first deposit.
On iOS, you do not need to install an app. Instead, visit hanzo.bet in Safari, and you can add hanzo to your home screen so it launches like an app. This method gives you almost all the same features as a native app, though some push notifications may not work.
App versus browser — which should you use
The hanzo app and hanzo.bet in your browser are nearly identical. The app version caches game assets locally, which means it launches faster and uses less data after the first run. The app also sends push notifications for match results, live-dealer table updates, and withdrawal confirmations. If you have a slow or limited data connection, the app is typically the better choice. On iOS, browser access is your main option, and it works well for all features including deposits, withdrawals, and live betting on Piala Indonesia or Champion League fixtures.
Device compatibility for hanzo
The hanzo app requires Android 7.0 or later. If your phone is older, you can still use hanzo through your browser at hanzo.bet. On iOS, Safari works with iOS 12 and later, which covers most phones from the last five years. Troubleshooting installation issues
If your Android phone shows a security warning when you try to install the hanzo APK, this is normal. Android blocks installation from unknown sources by default to protect you. Go to Settings, find Security or Apps, toggle "Unknown sources" on (the exact name varies by phone model), and try the installation again. If you see a certificate error, your device may have an outdated system time — check that your date and time are correct in Settings. For iOS users, if the home-screen shortcut does not save hanzo, make sure you have at least 10 MB of free storage and that Safari is up to date.

Data, permissions, and account security on hanzo
The hanzo app requests permissions to send notifications and access your device storage for caching game assets. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, or contact list.
